If you chose to receive your approved payout via Amazon Gift Card this guide will help you receive and redeem the claim code to retrieve your funds.
Before You Begin
- Please make sure you have received your gift card claim code. This will be emailed to you by Amazon, not Reimbi. Look for the email from Amazon, including in your junk/spam folder, as needed. This email will have been sent on the day your expense report was approved in Reimbi.
- Have access to your Amazon account (or be ready to create one)
- Save your claim code in a secure place until successfully redeemed
Step-by-Step Redemption Process
1. Go to Amazon's Gift Card Redemption page:
- Visit www.amazon.com/redeem
- Sign in to your Amazon account if you haven't already
- If you don't have an account, you'll need to create one first
2. Enter Your Claim Code
- Locate the claim code in your notification email
- Enter the claim code exactly as shown (including any dashes)
- Click "Apply to your balance"
3. Verify Success
- You should see a confirmation message
- The gift card amount will be added to your Amazon account balance
- You can view your updated balance under "Your Account" → "Gift Card Balance"
Important Notes
- Gift card balances can't be transferred between Amazon accounts
- Keep your claim code secure and don't share it with others
- Amazon gift cards can only be used on the Amazon website for the region they were issued in
