What is an Authorized Email?
Reimbi allows requesters to designate a single authorized email address on your profile. The person associated with that email will have full access to your Reimbi account, including the ability to submit expenses and view your payout details on your behalf.
This is useful if:
- You have an executive assistant or coordinator who manages your reimbursements for you
- You prefer to use a different personal email address than the one you were originally invited with
How to Add an Authorized Email Address
- Log in to your Reimbi account at app.reimbi.com
- In the left sidebar, click Update Profile
- Locate the Authorized Email section
- Enter the email address you want to authorize
- Review and acknowledge the access confirmation — this person will have full access to your account, including your payout information
- Save your changes
That's it. The person at that email address can now log in to Reimbi and act on your behalf.
Important Things to Know
Only one authorized email at a time. You can designate a single authorized email address. If you need to change it, simply update the field with a new address.
Full account access is granted. The authorized user can see and do everything you can, including submitting expenses and viewing payout details. Only designate someone you fully trust.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the authorized person log in the same way I do? Yes. They can go to app.reimbi.com, enter their own email address, and receive a magic link to log in. Once logged in, they will have access to your account.
What if I want to remove access? Go to Update Profile in the left sidebar and clear the authorized email address field. The person will no longer have access to your account.
Can I add more than one authorized email? Not at this time. Only one authorized email address can be active on an account at once.
