How does a requester become inactive?

Modified on Wed, 5 Aug, 2020 at 10:18 AM

Once a requester no longer needs or requires access to Reimbi they should be made inactive. A requester account in inactive status means that person can no longer log in to Reimbi.

There are a few ways a requester can become inactive:

Requester initiated

A requester can indicate that they have no expenses to submit and no longer require access. This can be done by clicking a link in correspondence from Reimbi or via a support ticket. When a requester does this their account is marked inactive.

Customer initiated

A staff user with the necessary permissions can mark a requester account inactive by opening the requester's profile from the requester table.

Auto deactivate via company setting

Customer's have the option of automatically deactivating an account via a setting in the requester policy in company settings. This setting can be accessed by staff users with the Admin role.

Auto deactivate via privacy rules

By default, Reimbi will send a notification to any requester who has not been active in Reimbi for 30 days. If that requester does not opt in to keep their account active then their account is made inactive.
